And another

So I sat down last night and started yet another project. I also finished it last night. I just love a fast knit. Do you notice a theme here?

Oh well, maybe now I can make some more presents.

Happy Turkey Day everyone!

FO, FO...

Yes, that's right. Out of all those projects I have started, I actually have some finishes. Unfortunately, one of them was a new project that I did in a day. So that doesn't really help my WIP list any. I made an Easy Roll Brim Hat. I got the pattern from that Crazy Aunt Purl. It is a very easy and fast knit.

It made me feel so good to have a finish that I actually got motivated to work on some Christmas presents. Please don't anyone tell me how few days I have left till then. Just let me believe I have lots of time. Ok?

Here is another finished Mini Weasley. They just love to pose.

And because someone out there asked how big they are, here it is in my hand so you can see the actual size.

And I also started another one. This would have been finished as well, but I had to frog some of it. That was a pain, but I couldn't have an imperfect sweater. Not even if it will just be an ornament.

More insanity

Well, I went and did it again. I joined another KAL. It's all Snow's fault. She told everyone about it. It is a cute little Christmas project. Deb is the one who did the pattern and she is doing the KAL. You can buy her pattern from her blog. It's only $4.00 and she donates a dollar from every sale to Habitat for Humanity. So come on along, you can join too.

As if this was enough, I do have an update on Rogue. I finally got finished with chart A and am now working on the sleeves. Two at once. My very first sleeves. I needed a break from the body for a bit, so this is my reward for getting off that first chart.

Here is chart A done.

Here is the sleeve detail.

And both of them. The second one is a little scrunched at the moment, but it flattens out nicely.

And the other day when I posted about those 3 new projects I was working on, I forgot another one. I am also working on a Clapotis. This will be Gina's fault. I am doing it in 4 different varigated yarns. They all have the same color combinations just in different hues. They go from really bright to deeper colors.

And Heather, and Heather; I know you two tagged me for a meme, and I will do it I promise. I just don't have all the answers worked out yet. But really, with all this other stuff going on, did you really think I would have it done already?

More new projects

Yes Gina, I have started something new. 3 new things actually. So I know I needed to post, I just hadn't felt like it. But here they are.

This is the patchwork purse from KnitWhits. I have wanted this for a long time but just couldn't swing the kit. So I decided just to get the pattern. I am only using 3 colors instead of 12.

This is the turtle neck shrug from Scarf Style. It is the one pictured on the front cover. The model is wearing it as a scarf. I liked the look of it. I had bought some yarn for another shrug and then decided I didn't like the pattern, so I am using it for this one.

And this is the Snowball's chance in Hell armwarmers. I thought it would be neat to make something named after Snow. And the pattern is cool too.

So there are my new starts. And I also joined another KAL. I know, what the heck am I thinking? Obviously the yarn has taken over my mind. And that's ok with me.

Go check it out. Very lovely patterns.
